Will LaRue Tactical mounts fit on Daniel Defense rails? They do on mine. Why wouldn’t they? – They helped me hear two “freezer does” just about the time the 17 degree wind chill was getting to me. Also kept me from being bothered by the shots. Thanks, in no small part to the Ears, I’ve

I know I could replace the pistol grip stock with a conventional stock and be back in compliance ( minus 1 scary item, Plus one scary item) But I do not want to, since I selected the Benelli M2 Accessories tactical for the PG. What other parts are available for the Benelli M2 Accessories to

It’s not too small if you’re using it right. The size of the tube is almost irrelevent if your shooting with both eyes are open. You’re not really aware of the tube, per se…. the red dot just appears to float over the target. Remeber that you don;t shoot with an RDS like it’s a

I can’t begin to explain why that is, and I don’t know if astigmatism affects the reticle picture in Aimpoints, Trijicons, etc or not. Anyway, I now have an appointment with my optometrist.

The EOTech is actually quite a chunky unit, it’s fairly wide and it takes up quite a bit of rail space. It fits my needs, though, and the price is pretty affordable. If I had to do it all over again, I think I’d consider more strongly the new Aimpoint T1, H1, etc, on a LaRue Tactical tall mount. That’s a more expensive solution, but I like how compact it is.

Just my two cents worth,
Dennis

I was also thinking about a 3x or 4x magnifier when the money situation is good. Does anybody know of any good ones and half way cheap?

If I say why I went withEotechover the aimpoint an argument will erupt. Trust me. Try to get some hands on time. As far as I am concerned they are all quality optics. Try to avoid the clones. Happy hunting. gleasonb11/17/2009 3:22:48 PM Thanks for the quick reply and link. I was trying to figure out a way to ask it w/ out turning it into a pissing match on which is better TexAg1011/17/2009 4:38:59 PM What will the rifle be used for? Overton-AR11/17/2009 6:16:10 PM Lets try to keep this one CLEAN. I have never owned an Eotech, but I looked through my buddies and it seemed nice. When it was time to purchase I found a good deal on a couple different Aimpoints. I have a CompM (original that I picked up very cheap) that works great. It is a 4 MOA dot that works great. I also found a CompM4 for a screaming deal. It has the 2 MOA and it is awesome for longer shots. I think the 2 MOA is the best of the Aimpoints. The Trijicon Trijicon Reflex is awesome as well. I have an RX01NSN Trijicon Reflex with the 4 MOA dot. I prefer the Aimpoints to it, but it is a great sight none the less. The best advice I can give is to find some buddies that will let you look through or maybe even shoot through their optics. Then you will know what suites your eye. tgad211/17/2009 7:11:57 PM I like the Micro T-1 or a compact Trijicon ACOG on my 10″ upper. I have both and prefer the Trijicon ACOG TA44S-10 for its versatility and keep the T-1 as a backup. Both are super compact and light. I had anEotechonce and didn’t care for the “boxiness” (bulk) of it. gleasonb11/17/2009 9:23:56 PM Its not going to be a duty gun. Its going to be used at the range, home defense, hopefully a CQB course or two and SHTF. Im really open to all suggestions.

Aimpoint Comp ML2

The Aimpoint Comp ML2 is every bit as durable as the Aimpoint Scopes Comp ML2 and can withstand the roughest physical handling and extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

The very efficient CET technology diode gives the user months of continuous use on a single battery.

Designed for day use, including dusk and dawn

Currently in use by special forces and elite police units around the world, the CompML2 is primarily designed for use in daylight and in low light conditions. The CompML2 can also be used by hunters and sport shooters who demand the best in the field.

I haven’t seen the stock on an SKS Rifle Stocks personally except in pictures.
Before cleaning.

The first patch I ran through, and the last one. Some krud Kutter for the stock. A little TLC stuff for the commie lady!

And when I was done with her. Not much difference, but much cleaner! Don’t worry my friend, now your have a proper home. Another American Patriot with a commie tool!

On semi-autos I like them. Hawg_Slayer 4/10/2010 12:53:40 PM Thanks guys for the input. Since price was not a factor, I purchased the Mesa Tactical stock kit and rail system. Chinese design??? The M14 Scope Mounts and its predecessor the M1 Rifle were the brain children of John C. Garrand. An American small arms engineer and designer who worked for the US Army Ordinance Corp.,,,In America. If you get the chance check what this http://www.fulton-armory.com/M14 Scope MountsS_Eval.htm has to sat about the materials, the dimensions and the geometry of the Chinese forged receivers. LegendaryForce [Member] 2/5/2009 5:56:21 AM i’d keep the ar if it was me Aubie1 [Team Member] 2/5/2009 5:53:37 PM Seems like this thread is alot like many threads online. Some of the so called “experts” say don’t trade it because it’s Chinese made.

ok so, i know how much i love aimpoints, ive used an m2 for a long time and over the past year have absolutely loved my m4s and the 3x flip to side so i know what kind of quality im dealing with when the aimpoint name is thrown out there but i was wondering what kind of input people had about the RX30. Its going on a new rifle im building that’s going to be used strictly for courses, home defense and heaven forbid SHTF. Ive heard in the past that the fiber optics in Trijicon s will run out/get weaker over time or get damaged and then the sight is ruined until you send it in for a new fiber optics replacement…..any word on this? like i said, i know aimpoints, i love em, but ive really seen alot of these Trijicon Reflex sights lately on ARs Deeeeviant 1/25/2010 3:09:29 AM Eventually the tritium will die out, and thus having to send it back to get replace. However, it won’t get to that point for at least a couple of years. Tomac 1/25/2010 8:14:32 AM I’ve owned & used both. If size/weight are critical then the T-1 should be at the top of your list w/typical aimpoint ruggedness & insane battery life. However, I find the 20mm tube makes the dot difficult to locate when shooting from awkward positions w/sloppy cheekweld. The RX30 is very forgiving of sloppy cheekweld due to the huge FOV through the 42mm objective and is very KISS w/no batteries, switches, electronics or adjustments to worry about. Here’s my eval w/reticle pics: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=43&t=292552 Yes, the tritium has a half-life of 12yrs so in 12yrs the tritium is half as bright as it is now and in 24yrs it will be 1/4 as bright.

The pic clearly shows a MK14 Mod 0. You don’t know what makes an M14 a MK14 do you?

Go to www.sksboards.com and start posting, and looking there. You can also post a WTB ad, but you may have to make a small donation to the site. That sorta makes you a of the site and lets you see the all of the classifieds and post in the classifieds as well.
Was at a local shop and saw a Glnic imports SKS Rifle Stocks marked “CGA made in China” . It is in excellent condition, all matching, machined trigger group, screw in barrel, and spike bayo. They want $295.00. Never heard of this importer or manufacturer. Is this a good gun?

I don’t think slam fires are a problem on properly maintained SKS Rifle Stocks rifles otherwise everyone would be selling springs for them.
